Climate Action Planning Assistance for the East Central Iowa Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) Status Report

The East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) seeks a consultant to provide assistance as we develop the required Status Report to complement our Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). Separate from the Status Report, ECICOG also seeks assistance with completing a GHG inventory for up to eight (8) cities of varying size and composition in the region. The consultant will be expected to work closely with ECICOG to complete the GHG inventories and develop a strategy to educate the participating communities’ staff and/or leadership about the results. The GHG inventories, reports, and meetings should be completed no later than August 1, 2027. This planning effort is funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program.
