Wairoa Airport Runway Extension

This contract is for the construction of the Wairoa Airport Runway Extension project. The Contract Works include, but are not limited to: •Construction of the northern runway extension and associated runway pavement works. •Widening of existing runway pavement areas and southern RESA / turn pad related works. •Earthworks, subgrade preparation, pavement construction and surfacing. •Drainage and stormwater improvements, including culvert extension, stormwater pipe installation, cesspits, concrete dish channels, swale construction, localised drainage grading and associated drainage works. •Airfield pavement marking and associated airport civil works. •Protection of the existing beacon lights. •Environmental management, erosion and sediment control, quality assurance testing, as-built records and completion documentation.
