(1) Vendor needs to provide assistant medical director services to the government authority located in Los Angeles, California. – Serve as an assistant medical director. – Providing medical oversight to the agency's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) delivery, and advise the agency in EMS planning, development, and quality improvement.– Provide medical oversight and advice regarding EMS operations, planning, training, quality improvement, and policy development.– Conducts research, evaluates case studies, interprets data, and formulates reports relative to the provision, delivery, evaluation, and management of the EMS Program.– Assists in the formulation of EMS related policies and procedures.– Collaborates with and provides medical oversight and expertise to quality improvement (QI) programs including traditional EMS field operations, emergency medical dispatch, and mobile integrated health by reviewing and analyzing effectiveness, system trends, and ensuring EMS system excellence.– Evaluates compliance with the legal documentation requirements of patient care. – Performs medical duties as needed for on–scene of incidents within the medical unit, medical group, or medical branch.– Serves as the Assistant Medical Director for the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program and reviews the dispatch system's medical components, including medical dispatch strategies and pre–arrival instructions.
