(1) Vendor needs to provide general counsel attorney services to the government authority located in Linden, NJ. • Legal counsel will serve as the authority’s primary legal advisor and representative, delivering a broad range of legal support in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.• Prepare executive session minutes and review official board minutes for legal sufficiency• Represent in labor negotiations and employment matters, including negotiations with unions representing Authority employees.• Monitor and interpret relevant federal and state legislation, HUD regulations, and program guidelines.• Coordinate with outside special counsel on complex housing development matters • Prepare all necessary legal documents, including dispossess notices, and represent the authority in court proceedings related to landlord–tenant matters and housing operations.• Provide legal counsel on land acquisition and real estate development transactions.• Assist with legal matters related to construction contracts, capital improvement projects, and mixed–finance housing developments.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 21, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
