2026-IFB-325 Midway Road Stormwater Improvement Project

Invitation for Bids for Midway Road Stormwater Improvement Project for Douglasville � Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority 8763 Hospital Drive Douglasville, Georgia 30134 September 9, 2026 IFB# 325 The Douglasville � Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the �Authority�) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Midway Road Stormwater Improvement Project (the �Project�), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the bidder or contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be �turnkey� and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include the removal of approximately 45 LF of 18-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP), 148 LF of 42-inch CMP, 528 LF of 48-inch CMP, five (5) double wing catch basins, four (4) junction boxes, two (2) headwalls and one (1) raised pedestal inlet. The Project includes installation of 59 LF of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), 96 LF of 42-inch RCP, 46 LF of 48-inch RCP, 481 LF of 54-inch RCP, four (4) double wing catch basins, four (4) junction boxes, two (2) raised pedestal inlets, two (2) concrete headwalls and associated road restoration. The project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for Midway Road Stormwater Improvement Project have been prepared by the Authority, Dane Hanson, PE, dated January 26, 2026. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope. All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right-of-way. All anticipated rights-of-way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
