RFT - Whakatane High School - 5YA (SP1 & SP2) – Multiple Blocks Remediation Works – Main Contractor

The Board of Trustees of Whakatane High School invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for remediation works to multiple blocks under the Ministry of Education 5YA programme. The following works will be delivered under a Medium Works Contract: 5YA (SP1 & SP2) – Blocks A, M, KB, KC, KD, LA, LB, LC, LD, LF, TX, VG, and Site Remediation Works. The successful contractor will be responsible for all associated demolition, removals, making good, testing, commissioning, certification, cleaning and handover of the remediation and replacement works. The project includes asbestos removal works. Works are scheduled to commence in 07 December 2026, with works affecting teaching spaces and access to teaching spaces requiring completion by 01 February 2027. Contractors with relevant experience delivering remediation works in operational school environments are encouraged to submit a tender.
