DCY-148-26-0001, Martha K. Glaze RYDC Interior & Plumbing Renovations

Notice is hereby given that the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) will accept electronic bids on behalf of the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (Owner) for the project entitled Martha K. Glaze RYDC Interior & Plumbing Renovation in strict conformity with bidding and contract documents. Brief Description of Project Scope: The renovation at the Martha K. Glaze RYDC will include the removal and replacement of the main plumbing lines throughout the facility (as shown on drawings), removing and reconstructing selected CMU walls along with doors and frames. New doors and frames shall be provided per the specifications provided. Project also includes the demolition of gypsum board ceiling and associated light fixtures within the housing units. New gypsum board ceiling is to be installed along with new light fixtures. The building layout will be modified to develop a shower hub in place of selected youth cells. CMU walls and associated doors and frames will be demolished, and new walls, doors and frames will be constructed per the new shower layout shown on drawings. New light fixtures to be installed in shower hub. GSFIC will use the e-Builder Project Management system to receive, review and store contractor bids and supporting documents.
