Springdale Recreation Center Roof Repairs

Lancaster County is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for roof repair services at the Springdale Recreation Center located at 260 S Plantation Rd, Lancaster SC 29720. The scope of work includes the application of a new silicone roof coating, installation of sealant and sealant tape, and the repair or replacement of flashing and sheet metal patches. Contractors will be responsible for addressing hose claims, securing aluminum reinforcing rings, and installing reinforcement fasteners to ensure long-term durability and weather resistance. All work must comply with applicable building codes and manufacturer specifications. Bidders must demonstrate experience with commercial roof systems and provide documentation of similar completed projects. Materials used must be high-quality and suitable for the existing roof structure. The County reserves the right to schedule site visits prior to bid submission and will evaluate proposals based on cost, qualifications, and ability to meet project timelines.
