DRA-10787 - USA (Augusta, Maine) - Building Codes and Industrialized Housing Study Service - Deadline June 24,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide building codes and industrialized housing study service to the government authority located in Augusta, ME. – Conduct a study on agency’s building codes and industrialized housing standards. – Help Maine to assess the viability of bringing the industrialized standards up to the same standards as the agency for site–built homes.– Provide policy options for how Maine can align the codes for industrialized and site–built construction.• Bidder will be expected to conduct research and analysis and develop a set of policy options for Maine to consider in three areas:– Harmonization of industrialized construction standards with the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code (MUBEC).– Incorporation of upfront and long–term cost–effectiveness into MUBEC updates.– Timing of other codes and standards that intersect with the MUBEC and agency standards.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 10, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for two years.
