Bar Screen Bypass

The bar screens at the City of Hollywood’s SRWWTP provide the primary means of protection for the downstream treatment works and accompanying equipment from debris inherent in raw wastewater. The project will include but not be limited to the third bar screen channel, screen, installation of mechanical equipment, slide gates in the screed, temporary relocation of existing utilities to facilitate installation of the proposed bar screen structure and piping, construction of a junction box for connection of the piping to the existing headworks system, construction and testing of the new bar screen, and final restoration of the existing utilities and surrounding site. The scope of work is to support the project on construction administration, grant or state resource funds, and inspection services.
