Ruthven Street Retaining Wall Construction

Description

The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management & Budget, on behalf of the Department of Mobility & Infrastructure, is soliciting bids for the construction to replace and rehabilitate portions of the existing retaining wall supporting Ruthven Street above the Pittsburgh Regional Transit's (PRT) Martin Luther King Jr. busway in the City's Polish Hill neighborhood. The project also includes work for replacement of PWSA water and sewer infrastructure. Coordination and phasing of the work for PWSA and DOMI's wall replacement/rehabilitation is an important aspect of the project. Traffic is to be maintained to allow access to the residences impacted by the project. Roadway restoration will also be required as part of the project.
