Concrete Removal, Metal Cleaning, and Concrete Replacement of Metal Beams at Fort Fremont Preserve

The County is seeking bids for the removal of concrete, cleaning of the exposed metal beam, and subsequent replacement of concrete on two (2) metal beams in the ceiling of one of the rooms beneath Gun Emplacement #1 at Fort Fremont Preserve. The purpose of the concrete removal and metal cleaning is for a third-party inspection of the metal beam. The bidder is being asked to remove the concrete sections, clean the exposed metal beam, and then refill the removed concrete opening after the third-party inspection is completed. Removal and replacement specifications are detailed in the attached scope of work. A non-mandatory (but highly encouraged) site visit will be conducted to fully understand the current site conditions and requested services.
