Evidentiary Camera System

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals ("Proposer") to provide an Evidentiary Camera System, Digital Evidence Storage and Conducted Energy Devices (CEDs). More details on the City's needs for this work are provided in the Scope of Work . The West Sacramento Police Department is pleased to invite your company to submit a proposal for the procurement of law enforcement body-worn cameras (BWC’s), police vehicle in-car cameras (ICC’s), CED’s and an integrated digital evidence storage system. The system must include embedded redaction software, on-demand dictation, on-site installation, software updates, repair, and maintenance services for all hardware and software components. As a law enforcement agency committed to public safety and transparency, we recognize the importance of adopting advanced technology to capture, document and retain evidence. Each qualified Proposer is to submit a proposal in conformity with the terms of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") by the deadline below ("Proposal"). The Proposer selected by the City pursuant to the terms of this RFP and the City's contracting procedures, if any is selected, is referred to herein as "Contractor."
