Department of City Planning Strategic Plan

The City is seeking a Consultant to work with the Department of City Planning and its partners to create a strategic plan for the Department. The strategic plan will outline the mission and direction for the Department for the next three years and will provide a game plan for accomplishing its mission and clearly tell the story of the Department's work and why it matters, include core values that all DCP activities implement, establish clear “lanes” for DCP and its partners, and increase the value of partnerships. This work will set up a pivot for the Department to developing a City-wide Comprehensive Plan focused on the Just Transition principles to advance Mayor Gainey’s vision of creating a safe, welcoming city where everyone can thrive.
