RFP for Construction Engineering/Construction Management Services for Rosa Morada Road Bridge Replacement Project

The County of San Benito proposes to replace the Rosa Morada Road Bridge (Bridge No. 43C-0041) over Arroyo Dos Picachos with a new clear span, concrete slab, bridge that will accommodate two traffic lanes and two four-foot shoulders. The project would include approach work to correct sag issues and to align the approaches with the new bridge. The basic elements of this project include: Construction of a temporary on-site detour Removal of the existing Rosa Morada Road Bridge Raising the east approach to eliminate sag and avoid potential for over-topping during flooding Construction of a new Rosa Morada Road Bridge. Notice is hereby given that proposals MUST be electronically submitted via said eProcurement Portal , no later than Proposal Submission Time , Pacific Standard Time (PST), on Proposal Submission Date at which time, the County will access and evaluate all proposals in accordance with the County of San Benito’s evaluation criteria. Any hard copy submissions, submissions via email, flash-drives or late submissions will be retained in the file unopened and will be considered disqualified. It is the responsibility of the bidder to see that any electronically submitted proposal(s) shall have sufficient time to be received by the County's eProcurement Portal before the bid submittal deadline. The receiving time in the eProcurement Portal will be the governing time for acceptability of bids. Bidders shall visit the County's eProcurement Portal for any upcoming updates, changes or information regarding this solicitation prior and after bid submission date. Questions or requests for clarification regarding this Request for Proposals (RFP) must be submitted in writing through the OpenGov eProcurement Portal . Requests for clarification or questions must be received no later than Proposal Submission Time , Pacific Standard Time (PST), on Proposal Submission Date . Requests for clarification or questions must include the individual's name, firm name, complete address, and must reference this RFP. At the County's discretion, written responses to all questions may be collectively compiled and posted, as an Addendum to this RFP, at the County's eProcurement Portal . No verbal clarifications or responses given will be binding upon San Benito County (“County”).
