(1) Vendor needs to provide external audit services to the government authority located in Bakersfield, CA.• Perform periodic independent audits of agency financial statements.• Review accounting procedures used by agency.• Recommend improvements to agency accounting procedures and systems of internal control.• Agency is seeking a highly qualified Consultant [Accountant] to perform annual audits covering four fiscal years beginning July 1, 2027 and ending June 30, 2031.• Accountant shall prepare and submit an annual Letter of Recommendation to Management after each of the annual financial statement audits for fiscal years June 30, 2027, June 30, 2028, June 20, 2029, and June 30, 2030, as deemed applicable.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 9, 2026.
