(1) Vendor needs to provide bus line inspection services to the government authority located in Poughkeepsie, NY. – Conduct bus line resident inspection, in–plant quality assurance, and pre–award and post–delivery audit services, per federal regulations, for up to seventeen (17) diesel buses over a five (5) year period.– Provide solutions for production line issues/problems, assist in implementing approved change orders, and produce written reports of the final condition of each bus before delivery.– The resident inspector must conduct a complete quality assurance/bus line inspection of each vehicle from start to finish to ensure conformity with specifications.• Monitor and evaluate critical buildup of body and chassis components, including sidewalls, floor, and roof structures.• Visually verify proper joining of the sidewall, roof, and floor structures.• Visually verify proper assembly and attachment of all body components.• Visually identify and verify repair of any air and fluid leaks.• Evaluate routing and dressing of lines, hoses, and wiring; their protection from abrasion and sharp edges; and installation of required supports.• Visually and functionally assure the integrity of electrical circuits and terminals in application and installation.• Verify uniformity, installation, and alignment of components.• Verify critical adjustment of steering, steering column, tile mechanism, slack adjustors, door operations, fan shroud clearances, and belt tensions.• Visually inspect the alignment of access doors and hinges, floor covering, interior and exterior panels, and moldings.• Inspect for proper thickness, type, and adhesion of primers, paints, and all coatings.• Visually verify proper alignment and installation of engine mounting, suspension members, and axle mountings.• Inspect and ensure proper function of all installed systems and sub–systems.– Vehicle Function Test and Inspection(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 23, 2026.
