Vendor needs to provide consulting services to support employee health and welfare benefit plans and deliver annual budgeting, renewal, and financial analysis for all programs to the government authority located in Arlington Heights, IL. A. Annual Benefits Budget– Develop annual employee benefits budget (due June each year)– Include 2–year forward projections– Support both salaried and union plansB. Renewal & Financial Analysis–Collect renewal rates, claims data, fees, and premium projections– Validate underwriting assumptions and methodologies– Negotiate premiums, fees, and contract terms with vendors– Prepare final rate structures and financial exhibitsC. Plan Costing & Forecasting– Prepare:– Claims, premiums, and administrative cost projections– Stop–loss analysis (specific & aggregate)– PEPM cost analysis and trend reporting– Provide separate analysis by employee group/divisionE. Benefits Plan Consulting– Provide advisory services including:– Plan design, benchmarking, and cost modeling– Vendor/RFP support (medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, disability)– Renewal strategy and negotiation support– Audit services (claims, compliance, etc.)
