EP - Emergency Repairs for Chilled Water-Cooling Coil in ATSH ERU3 - SRU

An emergency contract (62 Pa.C.S. § 516) is permissible if the public health, safety, and welfare are at risk or circumstances outside the control of a university create an urgency of need which necessitates the suspension of normal bidding and review requirements. The Procurement Code, Section 106.1, requires public access to procurement records. This provision requires that a written determination authorizing an emergency procurement be posted in advance, if feasible, but not later than seven (7) calendar days after authorization. This is NOT a bid.
