(1) Vendor needs to provide patient theater interactive digital solution. – Provide an interactive digital solution for use in theaters. – Provide an interactive digital solution designed to create a touchless, gesture–based experience for children and families in a healthcare or public setting.– The solution should promote engagement, positive distraction, creativity, and immersive storytelling while minimizing physical contact.• Core functional requirements:– Touchless / gesture–based interaction.– Movement–activated visual effects.– Immersive themed environments.• Character creation and personalization (Highly Desired):– Create–your–own character: Children design or customize a character or avatar that appears on the digital wall.– Created characters should interact with the digital environment and other elements.– Persistent or session–based interaction.• Hardware and technical architecture:– Required sensing hardware (camera type, depth sensors, placement).– Minimum space requirements and optimal viewing distance.– Network requirements (local vs cloud–connected).– ADA considerations and accessibility options.• Software, content and licensing model:– Subscription vs perpetual licensing.– Content updates and customization.• Support, training and maintenance:– Installation support and commissioning– Staff training (initial and ongoing) maintenance expectations and response times– Warranty coverage for hardware components– Nearest support office to University of Iowa• The video wall being planned for this space is expected to have these specifications: – 9.6 meters x 2.7 meters (31.5 ft x 8.86 ft)– 7680 x 2160 resolution, 1.25 mm pixel pitch• This solicitation is limited to the interactive digital experience platform and content, inclusive of sensing technology, software, and required hardware.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 9, 2026.
