(1) Vendor needs to provide employee safety, serious injury and fatality data standardization service to the government authority located in Washington, DC.• Provide Data associated with these events are inconsistently tracked, manually analyzed, exclusively housed inside state agency, and often inform lagging indicators rather than leading indicators.– The framework shall, at a minimum, address: • A consensus of core definitions of agency to ensure consistency when data is analyzed nationally.• A standardized taxonomy for incident type, injury type, body part, task, operation, equipment, vehicle involvement, work zone exposure, environmental conditions, causal factors, and contributing factors.• A method for distinguishing actual and potential SIF events, high–potential near misses, and lower–severity recordable events, including criteria for reportable employee safety events.• Recommendations to overcome challenges with personally identifiable information, sensitive information, legal restrictions, public records concerns, and data–sharing limitations.• Guidance for dashboards, summary reports, and visualization of aggregate agency trends, contributing factors, exposure–adjusted rates, and benchmark comparisons.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
