Furnish & Deliver Liquid Ammonium Sulfate

The City of Santa Monica is seeking vendor(s) to provide deliveries of liquid Ammonium Sulfate [(NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 ] for use in production of potable water per the standard noted below. The bulk liquid chemical shall be delivered to the City’s Arcadia WTP located at 1228 S Bundy Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Annual projected Ammonium Sulfate consumption at the Arcadia WTP is expected to require approximately nine (9) loads annually – or deliveries every six weeks – of 6,800 gallons each. There is no guaranteed usage at the facility. The City is also seeking vendor(s) to provide liquid for use in treatment of advanced-treated recycled water compliant with the standard noted below. The City recently completed its SWIP AWTF located at 1771 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. Please note the SWIP AWTF is located below ground level, but the chemical delivery point is located in the surface level parking lot. Annual projected Ammonium Sulfate consumption at the SWIP AWTF is expected to require approximately three (3) loads annually – or deliveries once every four months – of 615 gallons each. There is no guaranteed usage at the facility.
