DISPOS-9274 - USA (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) - Biosolids Management Services - Deadline August 25,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide biosolids management services to the government authority located in Pittsburgh, PA.– Class B lime–stabilized biosolids material is called ALCOSOIL. ALCOSOIL is comprised of organic and inorganic matter similar to humus and contains macro–nutrients (N, P, and K) and micro–nutrients (Cu, Zn, etc.).– Authority currently has no Biosolids or sludge storage capability at its Plant.– The solids removed from the wastewater must be removed from the Plant in a timely manner, consistent with applicable Permits.– This removal has been accomplished by incineration, Beneficial Use, and landfilling.– Beneficial Use has been land application to agricultural land, land reclamation of disturbed ground, (Sludge Derived Synthetic Soil) for daily landfill cover, and capping cells at landfills.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 21, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on June 30, 2026.
