STAFF-17122 - USA (Waterbury, Vermont) - Medical Director for Office of Emergency Medical Services - Deadline November 13,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide medical director for office of emergency medical services to the government authority located in Waterbury, VT. – Serve as primary author of the Statewide EMS protocols, including revisions and new protocols.– Author, review, or verify the medical appropriateness of EMS documents, programs, training guidance, certification exams, procedures, or similar material for EMS Program Staff and partners.– Author and edit quarterly continuing education articles, EMS newsletter, and other professional journals and/or publications.– Participate in the State’s review of quality–of–care complaints against EMS personnel and agencies.– Support organizational and participatory initiatives for physician, nurse, and EMS personnel educational programs.– Provide guidance in developing and improving State–level public health and medical response plans in conjunction with EMS Chief and other staff, with special emphasis on EMS and 9–1–1.– Advise on integration of national initiatives related to EMS and public health preparedness.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 6, 2026.(3) The contract period will be five years.
