FIRE-1914 - USA (Palm Beach, Florida) - Fire Hydrant Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Service - Deadline November 4,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide fire hydrant inspection, testing and maintenance service to the government authority located in Palm Beach, FL.– Fire Hydrant repairs, replacement and installation shall be completed on an as needed basis.– Exercise isolation valve, two (2) cycles.– Each hydrant stem shall be lubricated according to manufacturer’s recommendations.– Pressurize hydrant with caps on to determine any seal leakage, record static pressure, verify hydrant bottom valve completely closes, report missing or defective caps.– Perform operational test to verify water will flow at full capacity from the hydrant and the isolation valve is fully open, use proper hydrant diffuser with a pitot gauge to estimate flow.– Close hydrant completely, back off the opening nut enough to take pressure of packing.– Remove all nozzle caps, clean threads, check gaskets condition, and lubricate threads (cap and nozzle).– Re–attach hydrant nozzle caps. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 21, 2026.
