(1) Vendor needs to provide library self–service equipment and implementation services to the government authority located in Kenosha, WI. – Hardware and Software – Ability to offer everything in virtual, hosted environment – Ability to perform offline transactions and maintain records of all barcodes checked out when the ILS is offline and then upload transactions when the ILS is back online. – Network connection and power requirements. – Print and email receipts, as well as the option for no receipt. – Multiple languages for the user interface, including English and Spanish. – Security – Tamper–resistant or commercial–grade locking mechanisms. – Cameras and any integration with existing security platforms. – Notification of unauthorized access and/or failure of compartments to lock properly. – Functionality during loss of internet/network connections. – Single Sign–On capabilities, if any. – Description of all IT Security Compliance certifications, attestations or audits your systems have. – Functionality – Renewal options and process including whether items must be present – Process for browsing materials in vending machines, as well as dispensing process – Process of patron notification that materials are available. – Maintenance, Support, and Service – Describe the support available for the setup and implementation of the proposed solution. In your description, include the types of managed services or support services offered for the implementation and maintenance of the system.
