(1) Vendor needs to provide lobbyist services to the government authority located in Kotzebue, AK.• The individual or firm hired to perform the services will work under the direction of theSuperintendent. – The exact scope of services will be negotiated based on budget considerationsand identified School Board priorities.• Set up meetings for communication with State and Federal legislators to include visits to our District.• Assist District in searching for other sources of funding; which includes grant opportunities.• Weekly updates pertaining to services performed to Superintendent and Board President.• Report to Lobbying Committee & School Board.• Advise and assist the Board in development and execution of strategies for the purpose of accomplishing state and federal legislative priorities.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
