(1) Vendor needs to provide rural graduate medical education program development services to the government authority located in Jefferson, MO.– The contractor’s training may be integrated into existing rotations, a separate rotation, or provided as an adjunctive training opportunity, so long as the minimum training time requirement is fulfilled. – Develop or expand a rural Graduate Medical Education (GME) program that includes addiction training for a cumulative amount of training time equal to a minimum of 80 hours (two (2) weeks equivalent).– Include training in the treatment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for a cumulative amount of training time equal to a minimum of 160 hours (four (4) weeks equivalent) during a multi–year rural GME program.– Feasibility assessment to determine the need and feasibility of developing or expanding a rural GME program for the physician specialty area.
