Vendor needs to provide labor and employment legal services to the government authority located in Saratoga Springs, NY. – The applicant shall advise and represent the City on labor and employment law matters on an as needed basis, including but not limited to, employee discipline, contract grievances, improper practice charges before agency, arbitration, litigation and collective bargaining with the City's bargaining units. – Consultation of legal advice on all Human Resource practices/policies/programs/procedures as it relates to municipal government.– Consultation of legal advice on Human Resource matters.– Review and preparation of draft Notice of Disciplines specific.– Research and interpret applicable state and federal laws related to Personnel and Labor administration specific.– Involved in collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance procedures and arbitration matters.
