CONS-23833 - USA (Aurora, Colorado) - Design and Construction Management Services - Deadline September 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide design and construction management services to the government authority located in Aurora, CO.• Programming and conceptual design: Stakeholder engagement, site planning, and conceptual layouts.• Schematic and design development: Refinement of plans, preliminary specifications, and cost estimates.• Construction documents: Preparation of drawings, specifications, and permitting support.• Bidding assistance: Support during CMGC solicitation and contractor selection. The selected firm shall assist the city in permitting early/phased work packages as necessary.• Construction administration: Submittal reviews, construction inspection, pay applications, closeout, 10–month warranty walk.• Cost estimating and value engineering: Cost estimating prior to on–boarding of CMGC will be required to ensure design is within budget. Life–cycle cost analysis and value engineering recommendations may be required throughout the design process.• Progress meetings: The consultant shall keep the city's project manager informed at all times of the progress of the work. The consultant shall hold formal review meetings with the city's project manager and other city staff as needed but not less than once a month. Meeting agendas and notes will be produced by the consultant and distributed to all attendees.• Site evaluation: The design firm should engage a geotechnical firm to inform design of the site, landscaping, and its buildings. The civil subcontractor should engage surveying. Soils should be evaluated for suitability for landscape as well as building support.(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on September 15, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than September 21, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
