DRA-11894 - USA (Pittsfield, Massachusetts) - Routes Analysis, Integration of On-Demand and Microtransit Study Service - Deadline November 20,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide routes analysis, integration of on–demand and Microtransit study service to the government authority located in Pittsfield, MA. – Provide routes analysis and integration of micro transit study is to conduct an in–depth analysis of the current routes and identify low ridership fixed routes that could be better served by on–demand and Microtransit service.– Study will also assess current routes to determine whether they connect neighborhoods to essential services, including hospitals, markets, businesses, major employers, and colleges.– Comprehensive analysis will enhance service and provide much–needed, reliable, on–demand public transportation in county.– Routes analysis study is the culmination of consultants' thorough analysis of county's demographics, socioeconomic characteristics, trends, businesses, transportation network and gaps, and assessment of existing infrastructure and gaps.– Effectively understand regional transportation needs, collect qualitative data, and engage with stakeholders, including potential riders, regional transit providers, and minority populations.– Generating relevant data on the transportation challenges faced by residents and businesses is vital to forming a comprehensive strategy to improve our region's transportation network.– Include conducting appropriate research and assessment of the current operating environment and technology usage; preparing scenarios for a phased approach to implementing the micro transit service.– Comprehensive analysis of routes, existing conditions, and stakeholder input is essential for effectively predicting where, when, and could implement Microtransit service, integrating it with its fixed route, while reducing overlap in transportation networks.(2) The contract period will be for one year. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 10, 2026.
