RFQ #FPARC-420 - First Due Structural Fire Helmets & Replacement Parts

The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of Riverside County Fire Department is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to furnish Phenix First Due Structural Fire Helmets & Replacement Parts for frontline firefighting personnel as detailed in this RFQ. The Contractor shall furnish all materials and/or services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this RFQ. The Riverside County Fire Department has standardized its structural firefighting helmet platform to the Phenix First Due Helmet to maintain consistency in firefighter fit, equipment configuration, training, inspection, maintenance, replacement parts, and operational use. Maintaining a standardized helmet platform also supports compatibility with the Department’s approved accessories and reduces the operational and administrative impacts associated with maintaining multiple helmet systems. This is a competitive, manufacturer-specific solicitation. Competition will occur among qualified vendors capable of supplying the specified Phenix First Due products. Products manufactured by other companies, substitutions, and equivalent products will not be accepted. The awarded Contractor shall furnish all products, components, documentation, delivery, and related support necessary to meet the requirements of this RFQ. Estimated quantities are provided for evaluation and planning purposes only and do not constitute a guaranteed purchase commitment by the County.
