(1) Vendor needs to provide assistant and special counsel services to the government authority located in Toms River, NJ. • Provide assistant/special counsel services to the county, its officials, departments, boards, agencies and commissions, as directed and authorized by the county• Relevant experience may include, but is not limited to, contractual matters; civil service and personnel matters; eminent domain; planning and land use matters; public contracts; real property and development rights acquisition; intergovernmental contracts; Federal and State agreements; joint ventures, partnership and grant agreements; solid waste, recycling and environmental matters and litigation; public entity bond matters; regulatory matters; election law matters; risk management and workers' compensation matters; public records matters; and general governmental litigation.• County adjuster special counsel: services may include civil commitment and admissions procedures; collection of monies due to the county for the support of patients from other counties and state institutions; county adjuster rate–setting hearings; lien establishment; collection of prisoner health care obligations; and other related matters as directed by the county.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
