(1) Vendor needs to provide fiber network construction and implementation service to the government authority located in Oakland, CA. – Provide implementing the Middle–Mile and Last–Mile Fiber Network to expand reliable broadband connectivity to city–owned and operated Community Anchor Institutions (CAIs) and affordable Multi–Dwelling Unit (MDU) sites, as well as interconnect to designated Point–of–Presence (PoP) locations and leased fiber connection vaults.– Install new microducts via microtrenching or open trenching along designated routes.– Install and configure City–furnished fiber switches at designated hub and CAI locations.– Perform all fiber splicing and termination.– Conduct end to end testing and verification of all installed fiber cables.(2) Pre–bid meeting will be held on October 20, 2026. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 27, 2026.
