(1) Vendor needs to provide general liability third party administrator services.– Provide comprehensive third–party property and liability claims administration services.– Review each claim upon receipt to determine timeliness, completeness, applicability of statutory defenses, and required follow–up actions.– Track and manage statutory deadlines including the 45–day action period, tolling periods, and the six –month lawsuit window following rejection.– Maintain a statutory–deadline diary with supervisory review and escalation procedures sufficient to prevent missed deadlines.– Establish claims–handling and investigation protocols in collaboration with risk management and county counsel. – Handle claims through conclusion, obtain appropriate releases and tax forms, and obtain County settlement authority before settlement discussions or commitments.– Claim reviews with risk management, county counsel, and other designated county officials to discuss status, strategy, reserves, and closure plans.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 26,2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
