Ocotillo Roadway Improvements- Sossaman Rd to Hawes Rd.

The Town of Queen Creek is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to construct roadway improvements for the 1.2 miles of Ocotillo Road from west of Sossaman Road to Hawes Road from 2 lanes to 4 travel lanes and a center two-way left-turn lane, intersection improvements at Sossaman Road and Hawes Road, sidewalk improvements, ADA ramp improvements, street lighting, traffic signals at Sossaman Road and Hawes, pavement marking, signing, bike lanes. Major elements of this project will include utility adjustments and relocations, removals, new curb & gutter, pavement, sidewalk, driveway construction, storm drain pipe and catch basins, scuppers and retention basins, water system improvements, signage and pavement marking, traffic signals at Sossaman Road, Hawes Road, and 196th Street, street lighting, traffic signal interconnect conduit and pull boxes, and landscape restoration. Improvements will include furnishing all labor, tools, material, equipment, and any other incidentals necessary to construct the following per the project construction documents: asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, drainage structures and retention basins, sanitary sewer facilities, potable water lines and appurtenances, hardscape, planting and associated irrigation, and updated street signing and pavement markings. The following existing dry utilities will be relocated during this project; SRP Power Distribution, SRP Power Transmission, Southwest Gas, Lumen (CenturyLink), Cox Comm., Queen Creek Irrigation District, and Town of Queen Creek ITS, Ranchos Jardines Irrigation. It will be the CONTRACTOR’s responsibility to field verify all utility locations and to coordinate in a timely manner with the pertinent utility companies so that any obstructing utility installation may be adjusted without delay to the CONTRACTOR’s project schedule.
