ELECTRIC-0952 - USA (Rochester, Minnesota) - Electric Energy Facility Turbine Generators and Repair Service - Deadline August 18,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide electric energy facility turbine generators and repair service to the government authority located in Rochester, MN.– The Agency consists of two (2) 100 ton–per–day and one (1) 200 ton–per–day MSW combustor boiler units of the mass–burn water–cooled wall design, three (3) steam turbine–generators, MSW receiving facility, ash handling systems, air pollution control equipment, necessary auxiliary installations, medium voltage equipment necessary to connect with the utility grid, and a natural gas fired backup boiler.– The two (2) 100 ton–per–day Riley/Takuma waste combustor boiler units, Unit 1 and Unit 2 were commissioned in 1987.– These services may include replacement, repair, and installation of both new and existing parts and equipment.– An investigation as to why temps rose during shutdown took place. After investigation, the repair of unit concluded the process.– High vibration of turbine has also caused un–planned shutdowns. Bearings, rotor, and gearbox was inspected in similar fashion to section 5.1.– Another example would be any electric output issues with the generators. While there isn’t an example we’ve experienced to share, that equipment would follow similar protocols as 5.1 & 5.2 for a service repair(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 10, 2026
