26-011 Naples Landings Improvement Project - FWQ (Re-Bid)

The City of Naples ("City") is seeking qualified individuals or firms interested in providing CITY OF NAPLES LANDINGS PARK WOOD WALKOVER RENOVATION RAMP TO RESTROOMS (Approx. 230 SF) Aluminum handrail to be removed and reinstalled. Remove and replace all decking mid, and handrails. Posts, joists, and supporting beams shall remain. Replace/ repair joists, posts and support beams as needed. (See separate pricing for replacing) Existing decking shall be changed from 2 x 8 to 2 x 6 pressure treated lumber All other lumber to be replaced with like kind WALKWAY FROM DOCK TO PLAYGROUND (Approx. 650 SF) Aluminum handrail to be removed and reinstalled. Remove and replace all decking, mid and handrails. Posts and supporting beams shall remain. - NOTE: There is approximately - 180 LF of joists that need to be replaced with like kind. (3 x 8 rough sawn southern pine pressure treated lumber) - Replace/ repair joists, posts and support beams as needed. (see separate pricing for replacing) Existing decking shall be changed from 2 x 8 to 2 x 6 pressure treated lumber All other lumber to be replaced with like kind RETAINING WALL ( Approx. 65 LF) Remove and replace all 6x6 lumber associated with the retaining wall. Length and height of wall shall remain the same as existing. All excavation to be done by contractor. NOTES: • ALL LUMBER MUST BE PRESSURE TREATED #1 WITH ACQ RATING OF 0.40 OR GREATER. • ALL LUMBER MUST BE REPLACED WITH LIKE KIND TO MATCH EXISTING UNLESS OTHER WISE SPECIFIED. • ALL GALVANIZED HARDWARE THAT IS REMOVED MUST BE REPLACED WITH LIKE KIND TO MATCH EXISTING. • ALL PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER MUST BE FASTENED WITH # 8 X 3’’ STAR-DRIVE STAINLESS SCREWS, 305 GRADE OR HIGHER. • ALL DECKING MUST BE INSTALLED BARK SIDE UP UNLESS CUPPED OTHERWISE. • ALL FINISHED HANDRAILS AND CUT EDGES MUST BE SANDED TO PREVENT SLIVERING. • ALL DEMOED MATERIAL MUST BE DISPOSED BY CONTRACTOR. • ONCE THE PROJECT STARTS, THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE ON SITE EVERY DAY UNTIL COMPLETION.
