(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance broker and captive manager service to the government authority located in Meadow, NY. – Provide comprehensive insurance brokerage, risk management consulting, and captive management services.– Strategic partner for managing portfolio of insurance lines and will provide oversight and management of its captive insurance operations.– Brokerage and Risk Management:• Strategic Advisory: Assessment of risk profile, development of customized insurance specifications, and strategic guidance on market trends.• Placement and Marketing: Comprehensive market solicitation, negotiation of policy terms, conditions, and pricing, and the securing of optimal coverage across all required lines of healthcare and corporate insurance.• Claims Advocacy: Robust support in claims reporting, coverage analysis, settlement strategy development, and active participation in negotiations with carriers to maximize recoveries.– Captive Management and Malpractice Reserve Actuarial Services:• Actuarial Evaluation Requirement: Respondents must explicitly document in their proposal their specific approach and methodology for conducting the annual evaluation of malpractice reserves• Internal vs. Outsourced Execution: The proposal must detail precisely how these actuarial services will be staffed and executed.
