(1) Vendor needs to provide parking meter coin collection and maintenance service to the government authority located in Arlington, MA. – Provide twice–weekly coin collection from the town’s municipal parking meters and preventive and routine meter maintenance. – Provide town’s parking meter system is managed by the office of the treasurer or collector and utilizes a mix of physical coin or card payments and mobile application technology to ensure efficient collection and enforcement.– Coin Collection Services:• Collect and count coins from meters and kiosks twice per week and use a collection cart supplied by the contractor.• Coin collection services shall be performed during regular business hours in accordance with a schedule established by the town.– Maintenance Services:• Provide both routine and preventive maintenance and repair and ongoing troubleshooting support to ensure minimal meter downtime and machine longevity.promptly report to the treasurer or collector or her designee any repairs requiring the attention of the town.• Provide stickers for each meter and kiosk bearing the contractor’s telephone number that persons can call to report broken equipment.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
