(1) Vendor needs to provide solid state media disintegrator service to the government authority located in Aber Prove Gird, MD.• The command requires a reliable, secure, and timely method for destroying unclassified and classified solid–state media in agency and destruction of defective, unrepairable, or obsolete solid–state media. • This modernization action directly supports secure operations, reduces administrativeburden, and enhances the Command’s ability to safeguard mission critical data.• Solid State Media: The device shall be capable of destroying various solid–state mediaincluding, but not limited to, SIM cards, flash drives, solid–state drives (SSDs), circuitboards, smartphones, and tablets.• Optical Media: The device shall be capable of destroying optical media, including CDs,DVDs, and Blu–Ray discs.• Final Particle Size: The device shall reduce all processed solid–state and optical mediato a final particle size of 2mm or less to meet high–security destruction standards.• Acoustic Levels: Maximum noise emission during operation shall not exceed 85 dB tomaintain a safe working environment.• Physical Protection: Grinders and cutting blades shall be physically out of reachduring operation to prevent accidental injury.• Emergency Controls: The device shall have an easily accessible emergency stopbutton.• Interlocks: The device shall incorporate safety–rated cover interlocks that preventoperation when any maintenance access cover is open.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) Total Small Business Set–Aside (FAR 19.5)
