BJA FY 2026 Tribal Justice Training and Technical Assistance Program

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the BJA FY 26 Tribal Justice Training and Technical Assistance Program. This opportunity strengthens Tribal justice systems by providing specialized technical experts to assist federally recognized Indian Tribes in developing, implementing, and enhancing justice systems. The program addresses violent crime, substance-use related crime (including opioids, stimulants, and other illicit substances), and overdose fatalities while helping Tribes build sustainable legal and corrections infrastructure and enhance collaboration with federal, state, and local partners. Eligibility: Consortiums (including Tribal consortiums) with demonstrated national scope and on-site experience and expertise working with American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes.
