The University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, invites interested firms to submit Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications along with background information on Form DGS-30-168 (obtain adapted version from http://www.fm.virginina.edu/fpc/ContractAdmin/ConstructionAdvertise.htm) for the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Curtain Wall / Metal Panel Package 209-17155-013 and services related to the: Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center – Curtain Wall / Metal Panel Package #013R RFP # 08-116R The University will procure this contract package through competitive negotiation. This Package includes all Curtain Wall / Metal Panel work; for the construction of the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center. The new structure will be a five story building plus penthouse, totaling approximately 150,000 gsf. The ground floor, partially below grade, is a cast in place concrete structure with the upper four floors and the penthouse steel construction. The building will comply with the University’s sustainability program, including LEED certification.
