Electrical and Mechanical Repair and Preventative Maintenance of Wells, Boosters, and Lake Aerators
tucson-az / Parks and Recreation
Description
The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified offerors to provide Electrical And Mechanical Preventative Maintenance and On-Call Repair Services, during normal business hours as-needed, if-needed, repair services and emergency repair services for the Parks and Recreation Department’s and other City of Tucson Department’s electric motors, wells, boosters, pumps and lake aerators (see Attachments 1 – 4 for site inventory examples). The contract will be used on a preventive maintenance schedule (see Attachment 5) and as-needed if-needed emergency basis (see Attachment 6). To ensure necessary coverage is maintained for the City of Tucson, multiple awards may be made. A standard maintenance schedule and warranty will be developed by site, equipment conditions and usage, per City Department request. The Preventative Maintenance Scope of Work will vary for each site. The anticipated budget for the first year of the contract is $100,000 annually; however, the City makes no guarantee as to the amount of work the contractor(s) will actually receive. The City reserves the right to add or delete sites and change the services requirement. For example, an as-needed/if-needed site may be changed to a preventative maintenance site. Such changes will be presented to the contractor to propose a rate and schedule adjustment. Any site service changes must be confirmed by an amendment to this contract.
