(1) Vendor needs to provide food and organic waste diversion strategy delivered service. – To develop a comprehensive, implementation–oriented strategy to increase diversion of organic and food waste from traditional disposal practices, through an integrated portfolio of infrastructure investments, programs, partnerships, and supporting policies. – Consultant(s) shall evaluate opportunities to increase organics diversion through composting, anaerobic digestion, and other complementary strategies, and develop a practical roadmap for implementation over the short–, medium–, and long–term, including the delivery of pilot initiatives.• Provide City leadership with a clear, data driven strategy for increasing the diversion of organic and food waste• To provide analytical, technical, and project management expertise and capacity to initiate food waste diversion pilots and projects.• Existing Conditions Assessment and Organics Baseline• Citywide Organics Diversion Strategy• Comparative Economic, Environmental, and Business Model Assessment• Initiate Pilot Food Waste Composting Programs • Planning–Level Infrastructure Assessment(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 16, 2026.
