(1) Vendor needs to provide water main replacement service to the government authority located in Hilton Head Island, SC. – Replace of the existing 10–inch potable water transmission main. – Services:• Project development:– Review existing conditions.– Perform field investigations.– Conduct utility locating and subsurface utility investigations.• Engineering services:– Civil engineering.– Utility design.– Geotechnical engineering.– Structural engineering as required.– Environmental services.• Horizontal directional drill installation:– New 10–inch HDPE potable water main.– Appropriate pipe material selection and pressure class.– Entry and exit pits.– Drilling operations.– Pipe installation.• Water main improvements:– Connection to existing distribution system.– Isolation valves.– Air release/vacuum relief assemblies as required.• Testing and commissioning:– Pressure testing.– Leakage testing.– Disinfection.– Bacteriological testing.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 4, 2026.
