26HR1, Employee Benefit Consulting Services

The intent of this solicitation is to enter into a contract with a qualified professional employee benefit consultant, to assist Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) in the management of its employee health and welfare programs. As called upon, the qualified consultant will review and evaluate current plan designs and identify competitive options available to the Board or Education (BOE). Further, the selected consultant will provide strategic recommendations on an on-going basis for appropriate benefit plan options. The consultant will provide full-service, ongoing analytical and strategic consulting for FCPS’s group health and welfare benefit plans. Core services will include comprehensive underwriting, premium rate setting, benchmarking, and support with RFP preparation, development, and evaluation.
