(1) Vendor needs to provide towing services to the government authority located in Akron, OH.• The Agency is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to provide towing, roadside assistance, and related services for City–owned vehicles. Services include towing of light–, medium–, and heavy–duty vehicles; crane service; jump starts; tire changes; and out–of–town towing as specified herein.– Cars, vans, and pickup trucks– Large trucks (light to heavily loaded)– Sanitation trucks (including tandem axle refuse trucks)– Emergency vehicles such as police cars, fire trucks, and EMS vans– Specialty Equipment– Towing of cars, vans, and pickup trucks– Towing of large trucks (empty or 1/2 load or less)– Towing of large trucks (1/2 load or more)– Refuse trucks – tandem axle– Fire trucks– EMS vans– Service call for jump start– Service call for changing flat tire– Preparation of vehicle (disconnect driveshaft, pull axles, air brakes, winching)– Crane service(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 7, 2026.
