Formal Request for Offer for Annual Contract for Ammunition for San Antonio Police Department (SAPD)

The City of San Antonio (City) is requesting offers for training and service ammunition, specialty ammunition and substitute ammunition in accordance with the specifications listed herein. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Labor Relations Committee has approved substitute ammunition for specific ammunition. Substitute ammunition will only be acceptable by the CITY if standard ammunition is not available during nationwide ammunition shortages by the time required by SAPD. Vendor shall obtain CITY designee approval prior to delivery of substitute ammunition items. This ammunition will be utilized by the SAPD Patrol Officers, and other law enforcement officers in the following units: Narcotics, Fusion Center, Executive Protection, Repeat Offenders, SWAT, Aviation, Fire, Arson, and Parks.
