(1) Vendor needs to provide medical billing service.• Provider to have expertise and experience in the management, provision and delivery of medical billing services• Agency is licensed as a skilled nursing facility with 406 beds including two Special Care Nursing Facilities an 11–bed resident unit for residents who are ventilator dependent and a 24–bed resident unit for residents with behaviour management needs.• Technical Specifications– Licensed beds include:– Long–term care: 371– Special Care Nursing Facility, Behavior Management: 24– Special Care Nursing Facility, Ventilator• Mandatory Requirements– The Service Provider agrees to maintain as confidential all records of the facility.– No information may be stored or utilized off–site without the written approval of the Executive Director.– Telephone availability to handle time–sensitive issues as requested by the Executive Director.– Compliance with Federal and New Jersey State rules and regulations.• Medicare bills must be submitted within two weeks of receipt of prior month payments.• Systems in use include Data Systems, Inc. including Optimum Financial and are subject to change during the life of the contract.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
